Driftwood, or Watery Grave Marker?

(Oregon, OH) The image on your left is of a piece of storm-battered wood on the Lake Erie breakers at Maumee Bay State Park. I am not sure if it is a piece of driftwood or the remains of a wooden sign, but it struck me as portentous, almost like a faded warning of doom.

Before me things create were none, save things
Eternal, and eternal I endure.
All hope abandon ye who enter here
.
That sort of thing.

May I please post your photo of the watery grave marker on my blog? I'm about to host a writing competition called the Watery Grave Invitational and I think this photo would be a wonderful illustration. I would be happy to give you credit by name, post a link to your blog, whatever.

Thanks,
